Luke & Nicole’s Melbourne Wedding Photography | The Bakers Wife

I’ve had the honour of capturing Nicole’s sister ,Stacey, wedding a year earlier when she wedded her beautiful wife Lauren at their favourite beer joint, Mountain Goat. So I was quite pumped when it was finally Nicole’s turn to walk down the aisle with a tall, tan, and handsome guy (sorry Luke), and they asked me to be their wedding photographer, of course.
So what can I say about Nicole & Luke’s wedding day that the pictures below don’t already reflect perfectly?
We arrived at Nicole’s house that morning as she was getting ready and I remember sitting in the car looking at the pouring rain through the windows and couldn’t help but worrying for the couple. But as we stepped inside, seeing Nicole’s beautiful smile, immediately put my mind at ease. I knew then It’s going to be a perfect wedding day and no weather going to change that.
And it was perfect.
The couple said “I do” officially at the Emulation Hall in Canterbury before everyone was invited back to The Bakers Wife for the second part of the wedding. We were in a little treat as we arrived at the venue, a cosy converted warehouse with edgy industrial aesthetic. You probably have guessed, we got a thing or two for beautiful wedding venues. They photograph well and play an important part for wedding photographers who like to capture
Nicole & Luke, thank you so much for having us on your big day. I honestly could not ask for a better looking couple to work with, but most importantly, beautiful person inside out. Enjoy these moments as you are celebrating one year anniversary 🙂
