Ok, I know, I know, this isn’t exactly the best, the most beautiful wedding venue to get married at in Melbourne. But why?
Hear me out…
Whether you’re eloping or just want to have a small intimate & stress-free wedding ceremony. The Victorian Marriage Registry has become a popular option for Melbourne couples. We noticed there’s an increase number of registry wedding enquiries for the past year and since we have covered many registry weddings to date. Many of them are far from plain and boring as you would think.
Sure, just because you just want a small ceremony with few of family members and close friends, doesn’t mean it should be low budget feel and forgettable. In fact, many couples who have their family oversea prefer to sign the official papers quick there and then, so they can choose to have their dinner reception at another venue or restaurant nearby within the Melbourne CBD.
And when it comes to wedding photography, there are many choices for their bridal photo locations. The Parliament House, one of the most popular location for newlyweds, is just few steps away from the Old Treasury Building. Not to mention the Treasury Gardens and Fitzroy Gardens both are just around the corner. If you have more time, it’s probably a good idea to take the trams to the CBD and your options are endless. We personally like locations along Collins Street such as the Block Arcade and St Kilda Road with the Flinders Street Station and Southbank bridge and facade.
