If there was one thing we absolutely love about shooting weddings, is that, we get to connect with these lovely couples even long after the wedding. Some eventually become friends. Some we hold dear in our heart. This is true for Jake & Anna. In 2013 we’ve had the honour to capture their wedding and they loved the photos so much that Anna said, “when we have our baby, you must definitely come take photos for our family”. That was the best compliment any photographer could have asked for. We get to be part of their lives and not only that, children as well.
Fast forward to 2016, we received a call from Jake and what do you know, they are having their first baby boy, Samuel, and asked if we could come take some photos for their little family at the new house they just moved in to. We got to meet our star, Samuel and boy he was full of personality with big beautiful eyes and easy going, just like mom and dad.
