Ben & Amanda’s Engagement Photography | Fitzroy Gardens

With only few months to go until their actual wedding. It’s time to organise the engagement (pre-wedding) photos for these guys. Our main goal is to capture their love story in a casual and relax setting. So we chose Fitzroy Gardens as our location. Simply because it’s beautiful at this time of year. And shooting on a weekday means we can avoid all the weddings in peak season.

As usual, before getting down shooting like crazy, I like to sit down and get to know the couple. It’s the best way to get comfortable with each other and overcome the awkwardness. Once the couple opens up themselves to me, I know I’m set for some soul-catching photos that they’d definitely love. After all, people like natural photos and hate cheesy awkward poses.

Surprisingly, it was so easy getting to know Ben & Amanda. We clicked straight away and I quite liked their laid back & fun personality. That’s always a good thing. And as I thought, Ben & Amanda started to have fun and enjoy their moments captured. Or at least, Amanda was. Ben, on the other hand, was still a little camera shy at first.

We had so much fun photographing and I think the photos really reflects their relationship.

Now, the last thing to do is start counting down the day until their wedding. Bring it on!
