Nick and Mara had the wedding of their dreams! We loved capturing the special moments of their Assyrian wedding at various locations around Melbourne. The day began with beautiful ethnic dances at the bride’s house as the groom’s family came for negotiation traditions, followed by a stunning church ceremony at Greek Orthodox Parish of Panagia Soumela. What a beautiful Orthodox Church we may add.
The highlight of the day was definitely when the couples and their guests hit the dance floor at the reception held at Ian Potter Queen’s Hall of the State Library Victoria. As expected from a Macedonian wedding, there was plenty of joyous music, Arabic drumming and dancing throughout the evening. Our team of wedding photographer and filmmaker especially enjoyed capturing some amazing shots of Nick & Mara throughout the night – weddings at State Library Victoria don’t get any better than this!
